Home again, home again, jiggity-jog

Seeing the world has the fantastic side-effect of making home seem even better than it has ever seemed before. We crossed the Montana border on Sunday, driving into a magnificent sunset of golds and pinks embroidering navy clouds. I can confidently say (eight countries later) that they just don't make a sunset quite like that anywhere else.

They also don't make dusty cattle drives and saddle-sore muscles quite like the ones I bounced through today!

Upon returning from my overseas adventure a few years ago, I too discovered that the sun & the MT sky have a special artistic relationship like no other. When you head west in a few days & add the Crazies to that, you might get excited enough to pee your pants.

I see you didn't forget how to get on a horse while you were gone. It's like the bike thing, but I think I do a whole lot better on the horse - maybe it's the smell.

It was so good to be with you & your family. We'll see you soon! Love you dear, Brett

Marianne,

Ah, dear friend, you have returned. How it gladdens my heart to see a picture of you on a horse. It has been entirely too long since I myself have been upon one. This is a fact that I hope to remedy in October when I return to MT for a visit.

Isn't God good to us? He allows us to have these neat adventures and view his creation all over the world. Yet nothing is ever quite as good as being home. I suspect that heaven will feel much like your description of returning home.

Tis late here, dear friend, and I am off to bed. Love you much!
Your Elinor

Hi Friend....it's a beautiful thundering rainy afternoon in Honduras, but it pales in comparison to our beloved MT. I look forward to seeing a good old Montana sunset again! Love you bunches! Linz
